Welcome to Meditation Music

This software is a fun journey into sound and virtual music.

The style of music is based on the Indian Ragas which evoke calmness & meditation and makes use of sound samples from some of the most popular Indian musical instruments; flute, sitar, santoor, violin, guitar and tabla. In addition to this ambient sound and image are combined with user input to produce an individual musical experience.

Meditation Music does not claim to teach music theory but does provide a simple means for personal expression and involvement with music.
